BIRLASOFT PAPER ON 19th JUNE

Hi friends,

I am Santosh .I have attended for Birlasoft on 19th june. It consists of 3 rounds.

1) Written,

2) Gd,

3) Tech+HR interview.
in written test 50 questions r there.plz confirm wheter -ve marking is there or not before test.

3 from binary to hexa,octal,bcd conversions.4-25qs are from dbms(15q), java(3), cpp(2), s/w engg(2).They r basic level questions.just go through basics of any good dbms book and cover basics&imp topics. it is more than sufficient.

For aptitude cover topics probability(1), ages(2), avg(2), alligation &mix(1),profit&loss(2),time&work(1),percentage(1) .They r asking very basic problems. try to solve egs of rs agarwal& previous bits asked in compitetive tests in that book.

next is english. he asked qs : aminities (synonym), autonomy (antonym), phrases (close shave, if winter comes , life be far behind),fill inblanks(2), error finding(2).

Be careful for written test for non it branches. plz concentrate on dbms.then it is very easy to crack the test.

Interview is simple. they asking abt basics of c for non it students. and some hr q tell me abt ur self.
