An introduction to FLASH

Flash is very useful for every designer. Flash is the professional standard for using high impact web experience, using graphics, animation, sound and inter activity. Flash can excite, teach, entertain and provide practical information. The fact that macromedia continue to distribute this software effectively means the potential audience for flash content is huge continues to grow.

The tools needed to create are within our rich after we purchase flash only investment we need to make is time spent learning. Flash is so unique that sometimes less experience we have better. If we have preconceived ideas about what flash is or how we are suppose to use drawing tools it might be best to try to forget every thing and start fresh.

We don’t need to give you a pep talk because you will see for your self in next few pages. By using flash hundreds of student and invariably even the those who don’t have fore in their eyes at first will recognize the power flash has given then and that they can hone their flash give over time.

At the end you can conclude that the flash is easiest and frequently used software among our designers and animators.

As we know animation is our part of our life. Without animation we can’t imagine our world. flash helps us to give such that things . I have create one presentation to give you a knowledge of flash.

This is my first page and I have use a very basic animation in this page. I have use only motion animation.

Motion Animation: -

Animation is made from individual images however motion is created in an animation its steel a collation of fixed images.

Suppose you see a car dive by you see the car through out the entire time within sight, but you will probably blink. Your brain covers up the fact that you miss the part of the action when you watch a move ar a television the screen is blinking ver fast some time it shows an image, and others time its black. The fact that the blank moments are so short mix you think you are watching full motion.

The better and the next is shape animation we will see in our further animation slide. One of the most useful feature is button. It is used to create a advanced animation.

Button: -

Buttons states are simply the different visual version of a button as user interect. For example all the diologue appear in flash content an OK button. That button has a down state what it looks like when a user click on it. Which is slightly different from the normal upstate for the button.

The buttons we create in flash also have a down state. Actually we can easily create an overstate which is the visual look of the button while the user puts his cursor over it.

In our presentation I have create different buttons like moto, jwellary, sport, home, next…etc. by clicking on it we rich at the utilities of our shopping center.

Shape Animation: -

Points inside an image are mapped during any tween the term map refers to how one point in the starting shape corresponds to specific points in the ending shape.

Consider how every point on a printed map correspond to a real location. A point on map can be mapped to real location. When flash motion tweens a box from small to large one corner of small box is mapped to thr styartinge same corner in the large box.

Every point is mapped. Maping point in the shape tween is more complex so there is a feature called shape hints that lets you control how flash maps individual point.

now that you understand shape tweens you know both ways flash can do tweening for shape and motion. Shape animation is fundamentally unique in that it allows us to morph shape. The only rules are that we can’t have group shapes, and we can’t have symbols. This makes shape tweens easy to create, but some techniques are necessary to a sure the result come out as expected.

Action: -

Actions are our way to tell flash to do things such as stop, play or jump to another animation. The concepts need to be mention now as discussed in button. Because one of the places we put actions is on instances of button.

We put action instances of button lets take quick pick but nothing more. Select an instance of button in the scene and right click for the context sensitive menu and then select action. Press the plus button and select basic action on mouse event putting action on instances of button is the only way buttons work in flash.

Now, we have seen lot of animation feature. If we want to move animation do tweening for shape and motion. we how flash maps individual in a direction that we wish or say as we like. The another useful feature is guide layer.

Guide Layer: -

Registration refers to a alignment. In commercial printing, registration is critical because each color is printed separately.

guide layers become invisible when you export the movie. Guides are very useful and if we use them correctly they can have a huge impact on what your audience sees even though they won’t be exported with the movie.

In above slide the motion of the jwellary picture is guided layer and the path where it goes through is guide layer. Guided layer and guide layer both together makes the frequently used feature guide animation of flash.

At this moment you have seen the almost every utility that are present in flash are used in our presentation. Now we are going to see the most effective feature of flash.

Masking: -

A feature that hides all the and shows the particular portion of the particular picture.

frequnntly feature i,ture is guide layer.

if guides are useful and motion guies are indispensable, well masking is unbelievable ! it’s really a different feature entirely. Masking is similar only in that it’s layer property and we need atleast two layers. One for the mask and another gets masked. The graphical contents of mask layer will determine which parts of the masked layer will show through.

The basic orientation is similar to the motion guide/guided layer arrangement. for a masking we must specify one layer’s type property as mask. Then you will find the masked setting available when we access the layer properties for a layer directly below the mask layer. However we want actually see the masking effect unless we test the movie or lock all the layers involved.

In our presentation slide the picture of sudarshna jwellary set as masked and the focus as mask so that we can only see the particular part that covered by mask.

At this instant you have seen the flash’s most reliable utilities this is only the basic knowledge of flash. There is much more things in the flash that I have not been included in this presentation. I have tried give all the general information that grows the power of making the animation in flash.
